I'm finally out of my reading slump!!!!  This is my third book since last week.  I only have a short bit left to read of this book and am excited to be picking out my next read :)  I think the next book will be a contemporary mystery.

On the TV today::::

Poldark on PBS.

I'm hooked.

My Facebook crochet club (Pippin Crochet  Club) is currently in the middle of a crochet-along of an afghan inspired by the character Demelza Poldark.  I binge watched the first season of the show and am now eagerly anticipating each weekly episode!

I also have a ton of my regular TV shows to catch up on.

On the menu this week::::

Monday - Kielbalsa, Fried Potatoes, Green Beans
Tuesday - Pork Chops, Mashed Potatoes, Corn
Wednesday - Crockpot Chicken with Gravy over noodles, Pumpkin Pie Cake.
Thursday - Dan's Day (My brother will bring something home, so no cooking!)
Friday - Pizza
Saturday - Scrambled Eggs, sausage, toast
Sunday - Dinner at Church

What I am creating at the moment::::

Demelza Part 3.

 Here are all 3 parts together.

I only have 2 more blocks of Demelza Part 3 to crochet and again all those pesky ends to tie in!

  BTW, this CAL is going on in the Pippin Crochet Club group on facebook.  Come join us!

I've also been working on an afghan for my cousin.  It has gotten very little progress lately as I've been working on Demelza.  The flower block is called Primavera Flowers.

Prayers, Inspirational Quotes or Devotionals::::

  1. Your crocheting reminds me of many blankets my mother made. She called them Granny Squares. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  3. I did a little crocheting back in the day, but my mother created some afghans, etc., which yours reminded me of.

    Love the mugs in your logo.

  4. What beautiful crochet and yay for watching Poldark - we've just started the second series and it's wonderful - but then I come from the Westcountry so I'm biased!
