First Lines Friday, 56 and BBH ~ 3/13/20

https://hoardingbooksblog.wordpress.com/

Today's "First Lines" and "56" are from:

First Lines

"You can't call that a settlement offer."  Kate Sullivan looked directly into the dark eyes of her opposing counsel, who represented a medical device company.  Jerry had just made partner and thought he could play hardball, but she wasn't going to let him get the upper hand.

"It's not good for us at all, but maybe having the hardest one first will end up working out.  If we can mitigate the damages on this one, then maybe we have a fighting chance for a low settlement deal."

 Q.  Other than book reviews, what do you feature on your blog? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)

 A.  I like to have a variety of topics on my blog.  I have posts pertaining to reading, Scripture, memes, A Simple Woman's Daybook, Journal Entries and anything else that strikes my fancy :)

  1. Kudos on journaling! Instead of featuring other things on my book blog, I have a bunch of different blogs, all with different topics. I even have a separate blog for children's and adults books. Maybe that is a bit crazy.

“You look awful.” Mitch Warden poured himself a cup of coffee and studied Ilsa Nordegren’s face as she stepped into the kitchen.
