I haven't had a chance to sit down to a little Tea Time for a while. My mom stopped by and it was the perfect time to sit down and chat over a little tea.
I inherited this china from one of my husband's ancestors. He's not sure if it was his aunt's or his grandmother's. Either way, I love it. The roses are so soft and delicate and reminds me of a rose in the moonlight.
The silver tray, I inherited from my grandmother. It still a piece of tape on the back with her name. It is one of my prized possessions.
I had freshly baked Wholesome Peanut Butter Cookies. Paired with some Vanilla Chai tea and we had a delicious combiniation! I like my Chai with 2 teaspoons of sugar and a good bit of milk. My mom drinks her's plain.
I really like this close-up of the cup and saucer. I even featured it for my {this moment} post. This Tea Time was one of my favorite moments last week.
The pattern apparently doesn't have an official name. All I can find is:
Pattern: SAB103 by SABIN [SABSAB103]
Description: WHITE ROSE,GRAY&BROWN LEAVES
If anyone knows more about this pattern, please let me know.
