Sewing Saturday ~ 2/26/2022 ~ Pie Pie Pie!

I'm going to be featuring my sewing, crocheting and crafting projects on Saturdays.  Some weeks this will include a finished project, a FNSI or FNWF or just a WIP.

~~~~~~~~
I'm going to try to sew at least one block a week in the Pat Sloan sew-along called "Sweet Dreams". I'm using the fabrics below:
~~~~~~~~~~

Here is my version of the 7th Sweet Dreams Block:  Pie Pie Pie!

It was fairly easy to plan out the colors and piece it together.

The center of the quilt is going to be the first 9 (9.5 inch) squares.  I can't wait to sew them together to see how they look!

My favorite pie is probably PECAN Pie :)  So good!

You can find the patterns at www.ilovetomakequilts.com .

  1. Cute blocks, I love the dotted fabrics! Your blocks looks like making sparks fly!
    Hmmm, pies are good, my favorite is the regular apple pie, still warm!

  3. Yummy! Pecan pie is only consumed around here on Thanksgiving and Christmas! Otherwise, we'd look like two-ton Tillies! Love your plan to piece one block per month. I have given up trying to finish sew-alongs on time!

  4. I almost dread reading about your Sweet Dreams blocks - makes me so hungry! They are all so pretty, can't wait to see them together. My Daddy used to say his favorite pie was "hot or cold" - and I feel pretty much the same. My list is cherry, gooseberry, and pecan, but I'll eat almost anything with a crust on it. ;)
    Thank you for linking up with To Do Tuesday!

  5. Love your block. I keep meaning to join Pat on this SAL but I haven't even pulled my fabric yet so maybe not....
