I'm going to be featuring my sewing, crocheting and crafting projects on Saturdays. Some weeks this will include a finished project, a FNSI or FNWF or just a WIP.
~~~~~~~~
I'm going to try to sew at least one block a week in the Pat Sloan sew-along called "Sweet Dreams". I'm using the fabrics below:
I took some time and finally got caught up on blocks 1-6!
Block 4 -- Chocolate Chip Cookies.
I like my Chocolate Chip Cookies with walnuts in them :)
Block 5 -- Soft Sugar Cookies
I like my Sugar Cookies with pink icing!
Block 6 -- Cake
My favorite Cake is hard to pick. Some of the top contenders would be: Chocolate Cake with Peanut Butter Icing, Oatmeal Cake, Texas Sheet Cake or Coconut Cake!
I'm hoping to stay up-to-date from here on out but sometimes life happens :)
Here are my blocks so far:
You can find the patterns at www.ilovetomakequilts.com .
Great blocks, love your choice of colors!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I wanted to be patriotic as the quilt along finishes near Memorial Day :)
DeleteOh I love those blocks! The fabrics are fabulous. I like my chocolate chip cookies plain.
ReplyDeletePlain Chocolate Chip Cookies are fabulous too :)
DeleteFun way to share these blocks with the sweet treat you like best. I'm a big fan of cookies -- especially if I make them myself! I've been collecting those blocks and think I will actually make them and use her setting too. Your blocks are looking great.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see your quilt! I can't wait to "see" where Pat takes us.
DeleteThose blocks are great. I particularly love the heart block. Fabulous fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI love the heart block also! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteGoodness every time I visit your blog I get hungry! Your blocks are looking fantastic. I like your idea of saving the money you'd spend on V-day gifts and getting something you want instead.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up with To Do Tuesday!
We had a great time shopping together for Valentine's Day. The hubby still got me candy and a card. He's a sweetheart!
DeleteGorgeous blocks! And their names are making my mouth water! xx
ReplyDeleteI know! Some people are actually using the quilting prompt and baking the sweets as well as sewing the block :)
DeleteVery fun blocks. Have you been craving sweets by chance?
ReplyDeleteI always crave sweets!
DeleteYour quilt is going to be full of sugary goodness!
