~I'm up-do-date on all three CAL's (crochet-a-longs) I'm participating in. There will be 2 in the beginning of the month: BAMCAL 2019; 1 a week: BAWCAL 2019; and 2 a month for the Moogly CAL. So far, so good :)
~The hubby and I are starting to think about vacation for this year! We want to take a couple long weekend trips and are still debating on a full week vacation. We haven't pinned down anywhere specific except to visit the hubby's family in York, PA. I'm excited :)
~We're having Revival Services at Church with Buck Ryan who used to be our preacher. Of course, Sunday morning was a big crowd and we had a nice crowd on Sunday night. The services were through last night. It has been nice catching up with Buck and his wife, Sandy :)
~Today is my Uncle Charlie's birthday! Happy Birthday, Uncle Charlie :)
What are you thankful for today?
Colletta
I have many things to be thankful for, but after learning of the death of a 2 year old this week in a house fire, I am being thankful all week for my grand doll.
ReplyDeleteYou are in 3 CAL? I'm impressed!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Uncle Charlie!
An impressive thankful list! Don't you just love Rebecca Jo!? Vacation planning! Now that's something to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteI like it when the reasons are nice and simple ones! Sounds like a good start to 2019
ReplyDeleteVacation planning is so much fun. Thanks for linking up today.
ReplyDeleteLove your vacation plans. There is a lot to do near York, PA. I love about 20 miles away in Lancaster County.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of a crochet a long before. I hope you have some great vacations.
ReplyDeleteI've finished a couple of books, too - such a nice feeling. Fun to look ahead at vacation times! We haven't been able to do that with my husband's mom here, but we try to have some kind of short excursion when my oldest son comes down to visit. Nice that you could catch up with your former preacher!

We had a nice vacation last fall in Maine so I am guessing this year we will just spend the time at home unless we'd like to take a long weekend trip or two. How nice to be able to have a former pastor back for Revival services at your church!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you were quite productive this week. I hope the vacation gets planned.
ReplyDeleteReading and crochet are high on my priority list for this year. Lovely reasons to count your blessings in this post #R2BC
ReplyDeleteI don't do the KAL or CAL because I'm a loner. But I do make my list and check finished project off when I'm done. I hope you'll share photos of your finished work.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby loves to PLAN our vacations. Right now, he and our daughter are planning an international trip for us. I let them do the planning because they love it and I don't.
Planning a vacation is always fun. Reading time is always a blessing and good job finishing your first book of the year. I started with a chunky one so am still plugging away at it.
