"Just make a list. List 5 things that made you really happy this week. No matter how bad or boring you think your week was, I bet you can find 5 things."

1. Last Saturday, Donkey Ball came to town. It was a fundraiser for our local school. The participants were all volunteers: staff, students, alumni, etc. It was HILARIOUS!
At intermission, the kids were able to have a donkey ride. Here is Laken and you can see Kaylee just over her shoulder.
I almost missed getting a shot of just Kaylee, but I got her from the back.
All four of us had a great time!

2. You can tell I'm a proud "auntie". I think Dex has held a spot on my top 5 since he's been born :) Love him! Look at his poor little scratch. He won't leave his mittens on.
I got to hold him for about 45 minutes Wednesday evening at Prayer Meeting. I even got to change his poopy diaper! (Now that I'm not the mom it is much more fun!)

3. Kaylee's softball season has started ! At least practice has. I took my camera to (embarrass) get some good shots for today's post. I absolutely love to watch her play ball. She has improved so much each year and is really starting to LOVE the game.
Here she is coming in to home plate. (They were running laps.)
Batting practice. Her favorite part. She is starting to really be able to get some good cracks in. She is one of the more consistent hitters on the team.
Her first game is on April 30th. I'm sure there will be more pictures! lol

4. Last evening we went fishing for the first time this year at Shawnee Lake. I didn't fish this time because I was having too much fun taking tons of pictures. I'm sure you'll be seeing more at some point. :)
Kaylee loves her fishing/rain boots. She couldn't wait to wear them. She is really starting to enjoy fishing and even put her own bait on for the first time. Yuck! I won't even do that.
Laken used her Barbie pole and Daddy helped her catch lots of fish. Each time she thought they were the biggest fish ever. Her excitement is contagious.
I love my girls :)

I didn't get much actual reading done because I was constantly being called on to "look at this one, Mom!" Good times!

I actually had to narrow my choices down to 5. That is how I know I had a good week :)
Have a great weekend!
