"Just make a list. List 5 things that made you really happy this week. No matter how bad or boring you think your week was, I bet you can find 5 things."

1. We finally found a "new" work car for Doug!
Now I can have my van back!
Look how clean it is inside. It won't look this way for long :(

2. The girls had a great time coloring Easter eggs last Saturday.
Kaylee painted the dye on her eggs.
Daddy helped Laken get the her eggs in and out of the cups.
Then we had a big fight over who got to color the most eggs. Sisters!

3. I read into the wee hours of the morning to get "The Hunger Games" book finished before we went to see the movie the following night. The book was AMAZING!
The movie was really good but quite as good as the book.
I was worried that it might be a bit graphic for the girls but they handled it well. They were huddled in seats between me and Doug. Laken pretty much just watched it. Kaylee had a death grip on my arm! Isn't that a bit backwards?

4. Sunday afternoon between Church and the Easter program, we made a trip to the Wal-Mart and got our new fishing licenses! Trout season starts tomorrow and we are all excited about going to the crick (yes, crick). The girls both have rain/fishing boots.
I really look forward to going to the lake for nice leisurely afternoons and evenings.

I am so, so very happy to tell you that his levels have finally normalized! We are all relieved but especially his mommy. No more putting the "glow-worm" on him. And no more poking his little foot for blood. Poor baby:(
This is his daddy holding with his "glow worm" on.

It was a pretty good week, I must say.
Have a great weekend!
Hunger Games! :)
ReplyDeleteAlso... I totally have a Ford Escort that looks EXACTLY like that. But, I'm buying a new car pronto, my transmission is going out as well as the timing belt... ahk!

I did the same thing with the Hunger Games! I started readying the book at 5pm one night and stayed up until 12:30 to finish it in one night!! I'm really looking forward to reading the next too!

Thanks for the comment! Your baby is so cute! I have yet to see The Hunger Games... it just seems to keep getting put to the back burner... I may have to go see it by myself!
