HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

2018 IS GOING TO BE A GREAT YEAR :)

The weather outside is::::

FREEZING!!!!!

And, we had snow for Christmas!
It is still hanging around so full-on winter here in Pennsylvania :)

On my breakfast plate:

Special K Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar

As I look around the house::::

We got the OK from the Building Inspector to move into the addition!

I'm beyond excited to move into our space and have room to move about!  The first night we slept in our new bedroom, I couldn't sleep.  I felt like a kid on Christmas Eve.  I just kept looking around and thinking how big the room is!  Super excited!   :)

But...this means that we are going through boxes and purging.  We just don't have the space to put a whole house worth of furniture, etc.  I'm not afraid to admit that I went through the girls' boxes without them there so that we would be able to get rid of things that weren't important.  I didn't get rid of anything that I know they will want or means a lot to them.  I promise!

On today's to do list::::

Read Thru the Word
New Year's Dinner
Hang out with Family
Exercise

Happening this week::::

I'm still reading The Negotiator.  I started it and was getting into reading it but then Christmas and moving into the addition happened and I've just been too busy to pick up the book.  I do want to give it another chance, though.  After all, I have the whole O'Malley series on my bookshelf!

On the TV::::

Holiday Baking Championship Finale!
White Christmas!

What I am creating at the moment::::

My inspiration piece:

Picture From the Camera

My Mom (far right) and some of my aunts and one of my uncles trying to get a serious picture!
Left to right:  Aunt Debi, Aunt Mary, Aunt Donna, Mom and sitting is Uncle John.

We had a New Year's get-together on Saturday.  My Uncle John's 60th Birthday is on the January 3rd so we surprised him with cake and ice cream.

  2. Congratulations on moving into the new addition. Shouldn't that have given you more space? Purging is always a good idea and the beginning of the year is a good time to do it. Come see my week here. Happy New Year and happy reading!

  4. Brr, we traveled on I84 and 81 this weekend coming home from Boston... Stayed overnight at Montage Mountain...We were happy to return to 30 degrees, although our temps today are in the teens...I forgot to mention on my post I am picking up on Reading thru the Bible where I left off last year.. I think I only made it to April.. Picking up where I left off just seems more advantageous to me otherwise I keep reading the same scriptures over and over.. I pray I can make this this year!
