The weather outside is::::

 Cold, cold, cold with a dusting of snow.

On the breakfast plate this morning::::

As I look outside my window:::

The dogs want back in the house.  My little yorkie/pom sits at the window in front of my computer and whines for me to come let her in.

As I look around the house::::

I see a clean bedroom!  Hubby and I spent Saturday afternoon deep cleaning our room.   It is so much more organized and pleasant to spend time in now!

What I am creating at the moment::::

I'm still working on my Beautiful Shells Afghan for the Family Room.  I've also joined the Vibrant Vintage Crochet Along hosted by Cypress Textiles.  These are the squares for Week 1:

Prayers, Inspirational Quotes or Devotionals::::

Here's a verse that stuck out to me this week:

"Oh Lord, Please rescue me..."  Genesis 32:11a NLT

Do I pray and trust God to rescue me in times of trouble?

Happy Monday!!!

  2. Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. May the Lord bless you and your family this year. Your word "Commit" goes right along with the word "Trust" God gave my family and me. :) It was nice to "meet" you!

  3. The Fantastic Four sequel (Rise of the Silver Surfer) is actually a bit better than the first movie if you haven't seen it. Hope you have a wonderful week!

  4. I am stopping by from Jessica's blog. Your afghan squares look great! Your menu sounds delicious. My husband just deep cleaned our bedroom the other day as well. My allergies were getting the best of me and we had a lot of dust behind furniture as well as an infestation of ladybugs. Those are a big allergy as well.

  9. What beautiful squares! It's on my list to someday make a "traditional" granny square afghan, you know, with the bright colors bordered with black. But with already 2 afghans going and another I'm planning for (and even another one I promised my step-daughter) it's going to be a while. I already picked out the pattern: sunburst. Enjoy your clean room! Nothing better than a clean, organized bedroom for relaxation!
