1. What's something we'd find you doing most afternoons?

Most afternoons you'll find me sending off Kaylee to work.  She works 2nd shift.  Ideally, I will be on the treadmill around 2:30 pm and then making supper thereafter.

2. Who do you take after? In what way(s)?

I take after my Dad's side of the family.  I got his "big-boned" genes :)

3. 'After every storm comes a rainbow' or 'the calm before the storm'...which phrase do you relate to more right now? Tell us why?

"the calm before the storm".  We've had a very mild winter so far.  I'm waiting for a "big snow".  Laken would love to have a lot of snow.  Her birthday is February 2nd and she loves EVERYTHING about Winter!

4.What are your plans for the day after tomorrow?

The day after tomorrow would be Friday.  I'll be finishing up laundry and going to Bible Study in the evening.

5. Complete this sentence-"After all is said and done_____________________."

"God is still in control!"

6. Insert your own random thought here.

Speaking of Laken and Winter, she will be going Snow Tubing in a couple weeks.  Unfortunately, she has outgrown all of her "gear".  She has become a young lady overnight!  Luckily I have a friend with daughters a few years older that I'm hoping she can borrow a snow suit from.

I'd love to return the visit!  Please leave a comment and a link!

P.S. I love for you to stop by MY SHOP and give it some love!

  1. Colletta,

You and I are on the same page with #5 that God is in control. I'm not a huge fan of cold weather and snow but it's nice to see it flurrying sometimes. When you have time please join me on Curious as a Cathy to see what's going on. Have a blessed day!

    1. As long as we remember that God is in control, we can relax which is sometimes hard to do. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I enjoy a little bit of snow, but not the late snows we had when we lived in the northeast. It has been cold here recently, but we're back in the 50's today and I'm glad. Snow tubing sounds fun though. Have a great day!

  3. Snow stopped just short of reaching us. We very seldom get snow, it would have been nice. Snow here never last more than a day, so it's not bad at all. I agree with your answer to #5, He is still on the Throne and He will never forsake us.

  4. I enjoyed reading your post. That's great that your friend's daughter is willing to share her winter gear.
