Happy Homemaker Monday ~ 7/15/19

Come join Diary of a SAHM for Happy Homemaker Monday.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This was truly the first week that I've actually had what felt like Summer Vacation.  We've been so busy!  But, before you know it, it will be time to start back-to-school shopping...
In other news, Kaylee will be going to take her Driver's Test Friday.  We've been practicing and I think she's ready!  If you could, please say a prayer that she passes.
The weather outside is::::
VERY HOT and muggy here in Southern Pennsylvania.  Our AC has been running non-stop.  Too many more days like this with no relief and I'll be longing for FALL!
On my breakfast plate:
Slim Fast Shake
As I look around the house::::
Laundry and dishes are done.  I still have some blankets to wash from our camping trip.  I'm hoping to get all caught up with them this week.
Our riding mower went caput :(  The motor is done for :(  So, we've been push mowing the past two week's until it is decided what to do next.  Buy a new motor or push mow the rest of the summer.  Yikes!
On today's to do list::::
Devotions
Exercise
Groceries
Laken's Volleyball Camp
What I am creating at the moment::::
Well, Layna Bee made her appearance on 7/11.  However, I'm still on the same row of the baby blanket as I was last week.  My shoulder has been aching so I ended up giving it a break this week.  Hopefully, I'll be done by next week's update!
  1. Greeting, Colletta! Praying that Kaylee passes that test with flying colors and for wisdom and direction over you all as you sort out the lawnmower situation. Push mowing is NOT fun...especially when it's hot! Hope your Monday is going well and that the week ahead is a great one! Blessings! <3
  5. Good luck on Kaylee's driving test. So nerve racking, we are hoping to get our daughters license sometime this year. Your menu sounds really good, simple but yummy.
    Hope you have a great week
  8. Hi Sweetie!
    I hope all goes well with Kaylee's test! And that something gets worked out with the mower. Pushing the rest of the summer would be very no bueno. Lol
    Love your inspiration! 🙏 Have a blessed rest of the week ❤️
