Here in the Miller House, we love to watch the Pittsburgh Pirates play ball! We're only about 2 hours away from Pittsburgh so we try to go to a few games a year.
About an hour away in Altoona, The Curve play ball. They are a double-A team for the Pirates and a lot of the players from The Curve move up to become Pirates.
Altoona is closer and the tickets are a LOT cheaper so we've gone to a couple games. This was the first game of the season.
Kaylee isn't all that into baseball (yet) but she had a great time. I love that she (at 13) loves to hang out as a family.
Laken is happy as long as we keep her supplied with ballpark food. I can't really blame the kid!
As it got later, it started to really cool down. It was 80 degrees earlier in the day so we only had one hoodie in the car. Laken claimed it. You can see again, keep the popcorn coming and we have happy girls :) And a happy Daddy ;) Even if The Curve lost....
Do you like to watch baseball? Do you prefer TV broadcasts or the ballpark? What team do you root for?

Looks like fun! I like to watch sports on TV, though. Just because of back issues! Thanks for sharing at Unite!ReplyDelete
I can understand that ! Some of those seats are quite uncomfortable :(Delete

Thanks for stopping by blog and leaving your lovely comment.ReplyDelete
We have a farm team about an hour away from our home too and try to go at least once a summer, usually as a Father's Day gift for my husband. They are broadcast on tv too for home games, so he usually watches that. They used to be a farm team for the SF Giants but they just changed over to Houston. Oh well! It's just a good time with family. That is what's important!ReplyDelete
I love baseball but I don't get to see it much as I live in the UK. Sometimes I get to see a game on TV. I went to a Blue Jay's baseball game in Toronto once when I was growing up and it is such a happy memory. Thank you for sharing your lovely family evening out with us at the Hearth and Soul hop.ReplyDelete
