 Q.  Do you read classics? If so, what is your favorite? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)
A.  I don't read classics very often because I don't like to re-read books.  However, I love everything Jane Austen.  "Pride and Prejudice" is probably my very favorite.

I'd love for you to visit my Etsy Shop:  Colletta's Kitchen Sink Shop !

  1. I didn't even add Jane Austen's novels to my classic favourites because it would just end up in a rant about why I love her, but Pride & Prejudice is also my favourite of hers, closely followed by Persuasion! And 'The Super Mom Myth' sounds like a very interesting read, I hope you enjoy it! Have a lovely weekend and do drop by my Friday Post if you have the time!

  2. I haven't read any of Jane Austen but I love all the film adaptations. I really like the first line of Super Mom Myth. I hope you enjoy(ed) it and your weekend ahead!

  3. My favorite classic is Little Women.

  4. By the way, your shop is really cute. I love Etsy and shop there often. I have favorited your shop and one of your aprons. I look forward to ordering it soon.

  5. Believe it or not, I've never read Jane Austin. I've read a lot of classic literature, but never her books.

right now I am back in science fiction/fantasy mode.

  6. I love that Book Beginning first line. Ha! Good one. We are all experts from the sidelines, huh? My weekly review and quotes

  7. Yay Jane Austen, Persuasion is my favorite.

  8. I adore that first line. Me too. I was amazing before I had my daughter!!!

    Happy Friday!

Today on my blog I am sharing the first line from The Bright Unknown by Elizabeth Byler Younts. Oh my word is this book amazing!!! Currently, I am reading Once Upon a Christmas: Contemporary Retellings of Timeless Tales. It's a really fun Christmas collection of novellas. I'll share a line from that book here.

"Being escorted out of the firm by building security wasn't on his to-do list, but he could write it in later ... and cross it off."

LOL! This book is filled with sweet and sassy stories. I am loving it so far.

Hope you have a great weekend. Happy reading!

  9. You can't go wrong with Pride and Prejudice. :)

  10. Today I'm sharing the first lines from The Words Between Us by Erin Bartels: "Mostly people only die once. But my father is not most people. He is a monster." Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

  11. Bit late to the party this week ;-) sorry. Would you believe that I haven't read Pride & Prejudice?! I've seen all the film adaptations ;-) I've read classic literature over the years but these days I'm looking for more light entertainment. ;-)
I hope you enjoy the rest of your week. Here's my BBH Post
