My OMG for March 2022 is going to be to finish hand-quilting Mom's Blue and White Quilt.

I'm about a quarter of the way done and would really like to finish it by the end of March.

One Monthly Goal ~ January 2022 ~ Did I Finish?

My OMG for January 2022 was to finish the blue Fall Frolic quilt top that I'm making for my Mom.  I decided to call it Mom's Blue and White Quilt :)

I had 6 of the blocks already pieced.  I first had to piece the last 3 blocks.  Then I needed to piece the settings and border.

And the quilt top was finished with time to spare :)

Now to hand quilt the top!

My OMG for January 2022 is going to be to finish the blue Fall Frolic quilt top that I'm making for my Mom.

I have 6 of the blocks already pieced.  Below is one of them.

I have the last 3 blocks cut out and just need to sew them.

Then I need to piece the settings and border.

My January goal is to complete the flimsy (quilt top).

My December 2021 One Monthly Goal was to finish an Attic 24 Cozy Stripe Sage Afghan.

This is where I started :)

This is where I finished the month (well almost the month):

So I did NOT finish :(  

I greatly underestimated my crafting time in December...

There's always next month!

I think for December's One Monthly Goal, I'm going to be working on the Sage Afghan that I started over the weekend.

I got the yarn (4 Caron One Pounders in Soft Sage) for 60% off at Joann Fabrics Saturday evening so it was still the Black Friday deal.

I'm using Attic 24's Cozy Stripe pattern because it is super simple and I can mindlessly crochet while watching Hallmark Christmas movies.

As you can see, I have about 14 rows crocheted so far.  I really have no idea how many rows I need to make it the size I want.  I'll know when I get there!

I made this project my One Monthly Goal because in early January, I should be able to start hand-quilting the Blue Fall Frolic quilt designed by Pat Sloan that I'm making my Mom for her birthday present.

One Monthly Goal ~ November 2021 ~ Finish

 

 

I'm a little late to the party but I just found this awesome motivational link up hosted by Elm Street Quilts!

My goal for November was to finish hand quilting and binding this I-Spy Quilt for my cousin's baby due in December.  The Baby Shower is December 4th so getting it finished was a must!

So, I did!  I finished!

 Here are some DONE pictures including an obligatory "hubby holding the finished project" picture :)

Now, to gift the quilt.  I hope they like it!

I'm a little late to the party but I just found this awesome motivational link up hosted by Elm Street Quilts!

Even though November is halfway over, I'm going to set my "One Monthly Goal" to be finishing this I-Spy Baby Quilt for my cousin's baby that is due December 28th.  

This means I will have to finish hand quilting the last 10 or so squares and then bind the quilt.

The Baby Shower is December 4th, so it MUST get done this month!   :)
