  3. My taste in books has stayed fairly consistent. I know the genres I don't enjoy and that hasn't changed at all. I find that sometimes the increase in popularity of one of my favourite genre can turn me off. With that said, I always seem to go back to it after the wave has passed.

  4. I've been a Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys buff when I was young but required reading in school sort of buzzed the reader in me. But now, I mostly read YA, scifi, paranormal and actually, every fiction book I can get my hands off. So I guess it sorta changed but I still love some Nancy Drew and Babysitter's Club. First love never dies, I guess. :)

  6. Not so much changed, than refined. I used to read a lot of various genres, but mostly fairy tales, adventure and detective stories. Now I'm mostly into paranormal, sci-fi and fantasy, both adult and YA.

  10. When I was a kid I read all fairy tales and was enthralled. In high school, and through my twenties, I read highbrow works and classics, lol, I guess I was trying to impress myself :) Ha ha. I don't know why, but after that, I got sucked into YA and never stopped!

Thanks for the question and giveaway. I hope I win! :)

  17. Absolutely! My reading tastes just like my other tastes have changed over time. I continue to read great literary fiction, poetry, and short stories, but I've expanded my reading to memoirs, historical fiction, non-fiction, and YA! Books are wonderful that way.

  34. My reading tastes have changed over the years... as a young teen, I much preferred to read chick lit, you know Jackie Collins, Jilly Cooper Shirley Conrad. I learned a LOT from those ladies, if you know what I mean ;)
But then, in my mid to late twenties, I was introduced to the YA genre....yes, it was Harry Potter that did it! And now I am totally HOOKED on YA... I guess it's another reason why I became a YA author myself! lol
