LIVE ~ Mani Monday ~ 5/21/12

Monday and raining, again!  Hopefully looking at some color will perk me up :)

This week's mani was done by me.  Meaning, it is kinda messy.  I ust cannot seem to keep the polish only on my nails.  Any tips?

I started out with L.A. Colors "LIVE".  It is a glittery silver but just wasn't doing it for my by itself.  A bit too tin-foily :)

So, I added a coat or two of L.A. Colors "JEWEL TONE".  This is clear with glitters in beautiful, dark, colors.  I started with just adding it to the tips but then decided I wanted it on the complete nail.

I really like how it turned out.

Gorgeous ~ Mani Monday ~ 5/14/12

Hello, rainy Monday. 

You're not going to get me down.  Because all I have to do is look at this "Gorgeous" color on my nails and I feel all beachy and happy.

I'm always very critical and see my mess-ups when I do my own nails.  (boy, don't I sound spoiled?)  In truth, I've only been getting manicures for about 1 year.  What did I ever do before?!?

This color actually is called "Gorgeous" by Sinful Colors.  I received this in my lovely favorite colors swap from Ashley.  You can see the rest of my delicious haul HERE.

I did my toes too, but I'll spare you :)

It is just me this week for Mani-Monday.  The girls weren't feeling it this week.  I tried to paint my York-a-Pom's nails once.  It wasn't pretty.  Maybe next I'll try my black labs nails.  I'll let you know how it goes :)
