Bernat CAL Clue #4 Results

So, I'm a bit behind on the CAL.  Not too far, but far enough that I'm going to just have to pick up where I am and show you what I have done so far and then play catch up as I have time.

These motifs are my results for Clue #4.

This week's clue used only Contrast D yarn which happens to be Pale Yellow for this afghan.

I learned a new stitch with this clue.  The Popcorn Stitch.  It was really fun to learn a new technique and actually be able to figure it out :)

Making these motifs with a Popcorn Stitch in Pale Yellow yarn was a bit ironic and worked perfectly.  Movie Theatre Popcorn, anyone?

I have started Clue #5 but only have 2 out of 4 motifs done.  Hopefully they will be finished in time for me to share them with you next week.

Bernat CAL Clue # 3 Results

The 2012 Bernat Crochet-A-Long (CAL) started with the first clue on Wednesday, February 15, 2012.  Yesterday, Clue #3 came out but today I'm going to be showing you the results I got for Clue #2

Here are the results for my Clue #3:

This clue used the Main Color (Aruba) and Contrast B (Gold).  Once again I had to Triple Crochet the last two rows in order to reach the finished size of 11".
This block seemed to work up alot quicker than Clue #2 :)

Bernat CAL Clue #2 Results

Here are the results for my Clue #2:

This block took me a while to figure out but once I did it was smooth sailing.  I ended up having to do triple crochets on the last 2 rows to get to the needed 11".

Bernat CAL Clue #1 Results

The 2012 Bernat Crochet-A-Long (CAL) started with the first clue last Wednesday, February 15, 2012.

I was a few days late to the party but had enough yarn stash that I didn't need to order anything or make a special shopping trip.  I just plopped myself down and watched some DVR'd shows while I worked the block for Clue #1.

This clue was actually fairly easy.  The next Clue looks a bit more complicated.

I've also decided to make a second colorway at the same time.  I'll most likely be giving it away to one of my blog readers so I'll keep those colors a secret until the end.  Stay tuned...
