I've really been struggling with finding time to read lately. I'm hoping this RAT will help get me back in the reading groove! The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 11th and runs through Sunday, May 17th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. ~Again, not stress!
Yep. No stress is the best way to approach Bout of Books. Heck, life gives us enough stress we shouldn't pile more on with our hobbies and entertainment. Let's try to encourage each other to have fun as we're reading during Bout of Books.

DeleteI hope that this Bout of Books will pull you out of your slump. Maybe you can turn it into a family activity, too.
ReplyDeleteBut not stressing is definitely key. It takes all the fun out of it.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope it does pull me out of the slump. Just getting ready for it has gotten me excited about reading again. I would love to make it a family activity. Both my girls could join in!
DeleteYou've got the important goals in there ... not to stress!! Good luck!!
ReplyDeleteNot to stress is definitely the most important thing. I think that's why I really enjoyed this readathon last time because there are no set goals.

ReplyDeleteHappy to find another bookish pal to follow! Btw, I love your Sunday Song posts!
