This week's questions are:
The hubby got us tickets to a Valentine's Dinner that will support our daughter's Softball team. Then we're supposed to have a "real" date night on the 22nd!
2. When you attend something that isn't totally casual, are you likely to wear dress pants or a dress?
Most of the time dress pants. If it is a wedding, then I will wear a dress.
3. Do you use a regular toothbrush or one of the battery run kind?
Regular toothbrush. The kind that come in packs of 4 so we all get a new one :)
4. Did you have valentines in school when you were a child?
Yes, we had a Valentine's Party every year until 7th grade. I loved writing out my Valentine Cards. (Remember by addiction to stationary!) Friday afternoon, my kindergartner and I wrote out her Valentine Cards. I had as much fun as she did. I actually bought myself a few packages of cards this year. I couldn't resist!
5. If you could learn a new craft tomorrow, what would it be?
Knitting. No candle-making. No soap-making. No calligraphy. I could go on and on......
Let's chat and get to know one another!
Have a great day!
I help in Pre-K class at Sunday School and we did a Valentine's party Sunday. I loved writing out my Snoopy Valentine's for the kids. I love to knit. I have been knitting since 8th grade, but just don't do it as much as I would like.
ReplyDeleteAnything special for valentines day? Well, my hubby and I are going to camp out in the living room, eat fondue, and watch a movie with our four year old. Then, we'll go out Friday night for our date.
ReplyDeleteDress pants or a dress? Really just depends on my mood. These days, I'm likely to choose a dress simply because it's an entire outfit in one piece. Easy peasy!
Regular or battery toothbrush? Definitely a regular. My son has fun battery powered ones, but the hubs and I use whatever is on sale.
Valentines in school? Yes, we always had valentines parties. Now that I'm hoping to homeschool my son, I want to plan these little parties for his homeschooled friends so they can enjoy these traditions.
Learning a craft? I'm like you, I want to learn them all. But, if I had to pick just one, I'd say sewing. I mean, I can sew a little bit, but it's been a LONG while since I've spent time with my machine. Needless to say, our relationship is a little rocky right now. ;)
P.S. Stopping by from MercyINK. This was fun! ;)

Calligraphy! That's a great idea for a new craft to learn. I would love to learn that! My friend did all her own calligraphy for her handmade wedding invitations, they were beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week! Look forward to chatting on the porch next week!
Knitting would be fun,and maybe some calligraphy too! Happy Valentine Day!
ReplyDeleteThere are just too many fun crafts aren't there! Not enough hours in the day for all the fun we could be doing :)
ReplyDeleteLucky you 2 Valentine celebrations with your hubby. Have fun.
ReplyDeleteYOu had the same kind of answer I had for the last question. There are so many neat crafts, and I want to get my fingers in each one! Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteI bought Valentine's for my intervention groups and my 5th grade mentor students and I enjoyed writing their names on each card! Otherwise, I'm not that much into this particular holiday. I agree with you on the craft---it's hard to narrow it down!
ReplyDeleteHave fun at your Valentine's Day dinner!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was fun reading your responses. What fun to enjoy Valentine's with your child. I love your answer to the craft question... so many crafts and not enough time, eh?!
