Chats on the Porch ~ 3/19/13

This week's questions are:

1.  Furry Bottoms asks: Did you grow up in a small town, or a big town? Did you like it?

I actually grew up in the country but our town where I went to school is quite small.  I think there are less than 1000 people in the borough.  I love my town and live here still :)
2.  Lisa wants to know: If you could pick one song to hear for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Only one song?  For the rest of my life?  Probably Amazing Grace but I imagine even that one would get old after a while!

3.  Karen asks: What are your pet peeves?
Crumbs in the bed!!!!!  Seeing babies and young children improperly dressed in the cold weather!!!!  Dirty dishes beside the sink instead of "in" the sink!!!  I'll stop there.

4.  Colletta says: Do you remember your dreams? Are they in color or black and white? What is the craziest dream you've ever had?
Whoohoo!  This is my question so obviously I remember my dreams and some of them are CRAZY!  First they are in color.  I have a recurring weird dream that I'm in high school and can't remember what class is next.  I also have dreams where there are tables and tables of sweets before me and I can't decide what to eat first! lol

5.  Rachel asks: What is the perfect pair of shoes for you?

A comfy pair of flipper-floppers!  Hands down.  Or should I say : feet down!  I can't wait to break mine out...

Let's chat and get to know one another!

  1. It's funny that your pet peeve is opposite of mine. I cannot stand it when my family piles the dirty dishes in the sink. I like them rinsed and placed on the counter to be loaded into the dishwasher.

I love your blog! I'm your newest follower. Have a great week.

  2. I totally understand about the school dreams. I have a recurring dream that I show up to school on the wrong day-- I'm either a week early, or a week late.

  3. That's the good thing about living here- we can wear flip-flops nearly year round. I can't stand to close my toes in. Dirty dishes BESIDE the sink...I'll never figure that one out. No matter how many times I've mentioned that in all these years, someone around here still puts his dirty dishes beside the sink. So does the son-in-law and two of the lovelies. ARRGH! :)

  5. I really enjoyed your answers. Especially about improperly dressed children and flip flops. I sure can not wait to break them out when the weather gets warm!
