Christmas Books Giveaway Hop ~ Ends 12/7

I love Christmas books! I will usually start reading a few the weekend after Thanksgiving to get into the Christmas spirit.

I also start listening to Christmas music around the same time.  I have an aunt in Florida who will always call and sing "I'll Be Home for Christmas" to us.  I think of her when I hear that song and get emotional every time it says "if only in my dreams..."

I knew this would be the perfect book to giveaway for this hop:

    I grew up in Ky and would love to go there for Christmas but it will not happen this year, maybe one year I will-I have a dream to ride a sleigh driven by horses through the snow...

    I can't go home anymore because my parent are in Heaven. My youngest brother is coming home to my oldest brother and I for Christmas. It is such a joy for we hardly ever get to spend time together. I am thrilled.

    We live a mile from my grandmother (just moved in August to be closer to help her) and will be spending Christmas with her which is tradition. This year, however, I will be helping her to cook (rather than cooking at my house) so she can be sure it is cooked the right way ;)

    I am extremely lucky that all my family lives in the same county. We will mostly all gather at my parents for Christmas Eve, all the sibs, spouses and kids. We all try to get back together for Christmas Dinner the next day.

    I moved back home last Christmas so we don't have to travel this year! I am very excited about that! I hate wasting holidays on traveling!!!

    Ours is scheduled: (has been this way to maintain the peace for both my boyfriend's family and mine for the last 9 years)

    From about 7-9a: at home with my daughters and my boyfriend opening gifts that Santa brought or mom&dad bought...
    Then by 11a we are at my parents for brunch until about 1:30p or so ...
    Travel an hour and half down to my boyfriend's family for gift exchange and dinner...
    Then home ...

    Just moved 1000 miles away from home last month, so I won't be going back this year. At least I moved closer to my oldest brother, who I haven't seen at Christmas for nearly 20 years, so I won't be totally depressed about missing the family get together for the first time in 46 years.
