Counseling Tomorrow

And I'm chickening out.  All day long I've thought ,"maybe I'll wait till I'm feeling a bit better."

By then I won't want to talk about it and will just want to ignore the problem and hope and pray I want have to deal with it again.  Is that called denial?

I need some encouragement to keep my appointment.

Any of you that have seen a counselor, any words of inspiration or comfort?

  1. Well, experience has taught me that when I "don't think" I need to go.. that it will all be ok", is really when I should be going!

There is nothing wrong with going to speak with someone. It is interesting the way they help you to help yourself. Being removed from the situation beit at only an arms length.. they often see things that we can't , because we are living it.

I'm just catching up with emails and will be responding to your soon. Hang in there , this will pass with time and openess to healing. Blessings .. HHL

  2. I have never been to the counsellor but I think it's a great idea. You can get an impartial opinion and see the situation from someone else’s point of view. Good luck!
