My goal is to read at least 26 books this year but "secretly" I'm hoping for 52 :)

 A.  I didn't get anything bookish for Christmas from other people, but I did get myself a few Christmas books to read over the holidays :)  Wait!  I did get a book in my Christmas Gift Exchange.  I got "Devotions From the Kitchen Table".  Thanks Patti!

 Q.  What is your favorite Christmas themed fiction or nonfiction book? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

 

 A.  I don't really have a favorite but I guess the ones that come to mind are Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" and Louisa May Alcott's "Little Women".  I used to read tons of Christmas themed fiction during every December.  This year I haven't read any as I don't have any on my TBR shelf.  Maybe I should remedy that with a trip to the bookstore!

 A.  Not really.  I do like to read a few Christmas books during December but this year I've been in a fiction funk and have been reading nonfiction instead.  I'm hoping the desire to read fiction will be rekindled sometime soon!

I'll never forget the day I was cleaning out my top dresser drawer and found a treasure.  I almost threw out the stack of aged, yellowed papers, weathered by time and slightly torn on the edges.

Whether it's weekly or once a month, we purposely set aside a night to go out just the two of us.

 Q.  Do you keep your TBR stack on a separate shelf from your already read books or are they mixed? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)

 

 A.   I don't keep many books after I read them, but if I do keep it then it goes on a different shelf from my TBR stack.  Mixed books just would be weird :)
