This week's topic is:
My Greatest Strength:
I don't often think of my strengths. Most of the time I doubt I even have any. Especially lately.
I'm not feeling very strong lately. I don't know if it is stress or the weather or both. All I know is that I can't think of a single strength.
Every time I think of something that I could write about, I always think of reasons I shouldn't.
I'm feeling defeated right now.
But, I'm going to keep going. Keep striving to overcome. Maybe that in itself is a strength...
So, what is your greatest strength?
Colletta
Choosing to keep going when things are tough is definitely a strength! I'm rooting for you.

I imagine you aren't the only one feeling defeated right now... but (to quote a person I follow on TikTok): You don't get to quit. As long as you keep putting one foot in front of the other, you're succeeding. You matter.
ReplyDeleteHang in there. I know it's so very Pollyanna-ish of me, but I definitely think things will get better. Don't worry about next week, or tomorrow, or even this afternoon. Just take it a minute at a time...I'm rooting for you and hope you come to the end of the tunnel soon. {{{{{hugs}}}}
ReplyDeleteYes, some days just not giving up is a profound strength. Keep at it! And I hope you get to feeling stronger.
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhhhhh Colletta, I think a lot of us are feeling this way...between the weather, never ending shutdown here in NY, work etc...being deflated or defeated seems to the norm, sigh...and no, you don't get to quit. smiles
ReplyDeleteStriving and not giving up when things are hard as they are now is a true strength. These are hard times, when we all are struggling to stay motivated. You are not alone. Its one day at a time.
ReplyDeleteNot giving up, despite wanting to is certainly a strength.
ReplyDeleteSurviving is definitely a strength, particularly at the moment.
