My Thoughts:

 

I stayed up well past my bedtime to find out "whodunit"!

 

The author kept me guessing the entire time and I still didn't have it figured out until the end.

 

Kate is a true and loyal friend who loves God and wants to show others about God, even to the point of putting herself in danger!

 

Tom is the new guy on the force after being away for years.  He has something to prove but Kate keeps popping up and he can't deny his attraction to her and the need to protect her.

 

This book was a wonderful mystery with jus the right touch of romance to make it interesting on that level.

 

This is the first book in the Port Aster Secrets, but I look forward to reading more!
