WIP Wednesday ~ 1/17/2024

 

I thought I'd do a weekly post listing my current crafty works-in-progress (WIP).

As of the moment, I have a Valentine Bear started that I'm not sure if I'm going to finish or not...  I'm so disenchanted with it that I didn't even bother to take a picture!

Other than that, my only WIP is a Think Pink Prayer Shawl for my Etsy shop.  I'm almost halfway finished with it at this point and would really like to complete it this week as I didn't even touch it last week.  The pattern is based on Attic 24's cozy stripe blanket that I've modified.

I have been creating all week and finished quite a few items but you'll have to come back for Finish Friday to see what I've completed  :)

I finished up the Red Prayer Shawl I was working on last week.  It would be a great gift for Valentine's Day...

On Christmas Day while watching Wonder Women 1984, I finished a Turquoise Prayer Shawl.  This is truly my favorite color and my favorite prayer shawl to date :)

Saturday at the Shop ~ 12/19/2020

I've been really busy this week adding new items to MY SHOP.  Below are some of my new listings.  Just click on the picture to go to the listing.  I also love to make custom orders!

I finished up the Cafe Latte Prayer Shawl I was working on last week.

I also made and listed a Medium Thyme Prayer Shawl.

I also relisted the Heather Gray Prayer Shawl.

I have the yarn for a few more Prayer Shawls in my stash.  I just need to decide what color to make next.  What do you think?  Red or Black???

{Shop Updates} ~ 11/16/19

Below are some new and re-newed listing in my shop:  Colletta's Kitchen Sink .


I have relisted the Heather Gray Prayer Shawl!  Prayer Shawls are one of my favorite items to make.  Again, I offer a CUSTOM listing to make this item in any color you would desire. 

 

Next, I'd like to show you some more of the Messy Bun Beanies that I've listed.  I've added Flamenco Stripe, Fruity Stripe, Calm Fair Isle and Candy Fair Isle.  The ones linked are for the Adult size.  I can make these in any color.  I also have listings for Toddler Size (2-4 yrs) and Child Size (5-10 yrs).

 

 I've also got the pattern for a regular beanie using the Criss Cross pattern from Loops and Love Crochet.  If there are any colors you'd like to see, please let me know :)

{Shop Updates} ~ 11/9/19 (Messy Bun Beanies!)

Below are some new and re-newed listing in my shop:  Colletta's Kitchen Sink .


First I want to show you the new Teal Prayer Shawl.  Teal is the color for Ovarian Cancer Awareness.   Prayer Shawls are one of my favorite items to make.  Again, I offer a CUSTOM listing to make this item in any color you would desire. 

Next, I'd like to show you the new pattern I found over at Loops and Love Crochet for a Criss Cross Messy Bun Beanie.  The pattern is free and I'm allowed to sell items I make from the pattern.  I've added a removable bow that can be worn in the front or the back of the beanie.  I can also mix-and-match the bow for matching or contrasting color.  So far, I have a Christmas, White, Plum, Gray and Light Brown Messy Bun Beanie.  I can make these in any color.  They also come in Toddler Size (2-4 yrs) and Child Size (5-10 yrs).

{Shop Updates } ~ 10/26/19

Below are some new and re-newed listing in my shop:  Colletta's Kitchen Sink .

First, I'd like to show a few of the APRONS I made this week.  They are mostly Fall and Christmas.  Click on the link to see more :)

Next, I'd like to show the baby blankets/afghans I added this week.  It is a Christmas Baby Blanket but it could definitely be used as a lapghan.  This is ready to ship!

I also relisted the Pink and Gray Blanket as I sold one!  Whoohoo!  This one is now "made to order" until I get one ready to ship.

I also re-listed the THINK PINK Prayer Shawl as the one listed sold.   Prayer Shawls are one of my favorite items to make.  Again, I offer a CUSTOM listing to make this item in any color you would desire. 

Finally, I added some Cloths and Scrubbies to the shop.  I decided to take the ones that I had made and put them into "lots" or "sets".  I'm really just looking to get rid of them quickly.

{Shop Updates} ~ 10/18/19

I thought I'd create a post showing you some of the new items in my shop:  Colletta's Kitchen Sink .

First, I'd like to mention that there are still a few APRONS left in my shop.  I've marked them down to $14 with free shipping.  (In fact everything in my shop has free shipping!!!)  I'll also be adding some Christmas aprons as soon as I get time to sit down at my sewing machine :)

Next, I'd like to show an example of the baby blankets/afghans that I've made for the shop.  This blanket is a Dr. Seuss inspired blanket.  I love the red and turquoise together!  I have other color combinations in my shop and can also make CUSTOM blankets in the colors of your choice.

Finally, I want to show you what I've been working on lately.  My newest items are Prayer Shawls. I've made an all white Bridal/Prayer Shawl with a granny stitch as well as some textured Prayer Shawls in other colors.  Again, I offer a CUSTOM listing to make this item in any color you would desire.  I'm considering creating a Striped Prayer Shawl in multiple colors.  I just need to find the time :)

P.S.  I also added some Earwarmer Headbands to the shop but need to get some better pictures :)
