"Friday Night Sew-In" is hosted by Wendy Bertello at Sugarlane Designs . FNSI is set for the 3rd Friday of each month (Australia-time) but as participants are joining in from all over the world, you can participate any time from Thursday - Saturday, depending on where you are.
I've signed up for the "Sew-in" and will be working on hand quilting the I-Spy Baby Blanket. This project is also my One Monthly Goal and I'd really like to get it finished!
Now that daylight savings time is over, I've noticed that I need better lighting in the Family Room so I can watch TV and hand quilt at the same time. And dare I say...a pair of "readers" might not go amiss either! I'm only 43 years old so I don't know if I'm ready to go down the "readers" trail yet! I am finding it harder to thread my needle though :(
I'll be back to let you know what I've accomplished on the quilt during the VIRTUAL Friday Night Sew-In :)
Have you ever made an I-Spy Quilt? Just curious... :)

No, what is an I Spy quilt! I need to finish the quilt that I started a couple of years ago. Maybe I will work on that this coming weekend.
ReplyDeleteAn I-Spy quilt uses multiples of different fabrics (usually children's) and when done you can play the "I-spy game" or matching game. My girls loved the one I made them. You really should get that quilt out and finish it! And make sure you show pictures! Thanks for stopping by :)
