My teaser for this week is from:
What was that odd shimmer in the night sky?
Christy Reed crested the hill on the undulating rural road and peered at the eerie dome of light above the trees in the distance. On a chilly, clear November evening the heavens should be pitch black save for the starts strewn across the inky firmament, not tainted by unnatural illumination.

Happy Tuesday!
Oh yes, that intro makes me want to read more; hope this is a good one.
ReplyDeleteLove the beginning and the cover. This week I am featuring Heartless by Anne Elisabeth Stengl which has languished on TBR mountain for more than seven years. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI like the cover, but I'm not sure about the opening.
ReplyDeleteThat opener is a little spooky, but raises my curiosity.
ReplyDeleteGreat excerpt...and I love the cover, too. Thanks for sharing, and here's mine: “BLOOD SISTERS”
ReplyDeleteAfter watching Olympic ice skating this past week, the cover appeals to me. The opening makes me want to know more, too. Sounds like a good story.
ReplyDeleteMy Tuesday post features All the Light We Cannot See.
It sounds quite atmospheric but I think I'd need to read on for a bit before deciding.
ReplyDeleteThis one has been on my TBR for a while. Your teaser has made me want to read it even more. Thanks for sharing!
