"I saw a Latin edition of “The Hobbit” last time I was at the bookstore… Do you read any foreign languages? Do you ENJOY reading in other languages?"
I'm ashamed to say that would be a big, fat NO... I had two years of Spanish in High School and that is as far as my foreign language study went. So far. I would love to become fluent in Spanish. At least enough that I could follow along with what is spoken on some of my favorite TV shows :)
I would love to learn how to speak fluent Spanish, too. If I have a chance to attend a foreign language class, I'd pick Spanish, followed by French.
ReplyDeleteI took Spanish in high school and a couple of semesters in college but am way far away from being fluent. I have a favorite Mexican restaurant I go to and would love to be more fluent so I could converse with them in their native language. :)

Don't be too embarrassed, because I had three years of Spanish in High School, and although I still know some vocab, it's only reading and not speaking. I never got really fluent in Spanish, although I like the language, but definitvely not as much as English. ;) Thanks for stepping by and sharing! =)
