Update on Uncle Charlie:
He's still in the hospital. He ended up having to have surgery on his collar bone. The had to put in pins and a plate. The plan is to try to start weaning him off the pain pump and the IV meds and get him ready to possible come home the within a day or two.

It seems like fall has fell upon us in the span of a day's time! We actually had a fire built in the cook stove this weekend. It is supposed to warm up a bit this week and I'll take it!

The guys have been busy working on the roof of the addition. The rainy weather over the weekend put a bit of a "damper" (hehe) on the progress but we'll get there eventually.

DeleteGuardians of the Galaxy is so funny! We haven't seen the 2nd all the way through though. Tried to take the family to the drive-in to see it this year, but it started playing too late and the kids were too tired to stay after the first movie, haha. Have a great week!

No fall yet here in the Southwest! I envy you a little. My husband when to see Guardians with our son and his family, but I haven't seen it.
ReplyDeleteHere I am looking forward to milder temps... today will be our last day of high 80's and then we fall into the 70's and possibility of much needed rain! I wish your dedication for exercise would pass on to me.... although I am getting a bit more active! Have a wonderful autumn!

ReplyDeleteWe love Guardians of the Galaxy! We watched the first on together as a family and waited anxiously for the second one to come out! It was just as good as the first one! My husband and I are in our mid 50s so we remember almost all of the sound tracks!
