Update on Uncle Charlie:

He's still in the hospital.  He ended up having to have surgery on his collar bone.  The had to put in pins and a plate.  The plan is to try to start weaning him off the pain pump and the IV meds and get him ready to possible come home the within a day or two.

Many thanks to all of you who have said a prayer for him!

The weather outside is::::

  6. Guardians of the Galaxy is so funny! We haven't seen the 2nd all the way through though. Tried to take the family to the drive-in to see it this year, but it started playing too late and the kids were too tired to stay after the first movie, haha. Have a great week!

  9. Here I am looking forward to milder temps... today will be our last day of high 80's and then we fall into the 70's and possibility of much needed rain! I wish your dedication for exercise would pass on to me.... although I am getting a bit more active! Have a wonderful autumn!

  11. We love Guardians of the Galaxy! We watched the first on together as a family and waited anxiously for the second one to come out! It was just as good as the first one! My husband and I are in our mid 50s so we remember almost all of the sound tracks!
