Blurb:

Feisty wedding photographer Hannah McDermott has dealt with her share of difficult brides. But none can compare to the ultimate Bridezilla she's dealing with now. Still, she's trying desperately to impress Bella Neeley, Galveston Island's most sought-after wedding planner, so she can take the top spot in Bella's list of recommended photographers--a spot currently occupied by her arch-rival, Drew Kincaid. What she doesn't count on, however, is falling head over heels for the competition.
With her contagious humor and cast of quirky characters, Janice Thompson gives readers more of the bridal business drama they want in a brand-new series all about those long-suffering people who make beautiful weddings happen. Readers are desperately waiting for more of Bella and this new series brings her back in a big way, while introducing new characters fans will love. Fans will laugh out loud as they experience this breezy and entertaining novel from a great storyteller.

My Thoughts:

This book was so much fun to read!

Hannah was such a character!  I loved her charm and her outlook on life even when she was in "panic" mode.  Drew was just as charming and made the perfect hero for the story!

The author did a great job of writing the storyline and taking her time in setting up the romance.  It wasn't rushed and left me with a gooey feeling.  Ahhh, love!

I loved the Irish theme to the book.  I've always loved all things Irish so it made it so much fun to read.  I enjoyed the Italians meeting the Irish and the two nationalities coming together in such love and kindness.

I especially enjoyed the Bing and Bob Night!  I would have loved to have been there.  So much fun!

I can't wait to get my hands on the second book of the Weddings by Design series by Janice Thompson.

If you read any of the Bella books by Janice, you'll adore this book as well :)

  1. Sounds like a fun book! My daughter has just started taking Irish dance. While this certainly doesn't look like a kids' book, she would be excited just to know I was reading something Irish. She loves the dancing so much! I'm glad you linked up with us at #LMMLinkup!
