Weigh-In Wednesday ~ 5/14/14 ~ Week 5

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Whatever you do, work at it wholeheartedly as though you were
 doing it for the Lord and not merely for people.
Colossians 3:23
I've officially lost 10 pounds in 5 weeks!  I'm so excited!
If you've noticed, I haven't posted my actual weight on any of my weigh-ins.  I've posted what I've lost but have never been brave enough to be completely honest about my weight.
I guess my fear is what people will think if they know how much I weigh.  By not admitting the number maybe I can pretend that they don't know I'm overweight.  Mostly I'm just a big old chicken!
My role-models are those who are brave enough to post their weight on their blog/page.  Some even take pictures of the scale for their weigh-in.
Will I ever be that brave?  I don't know.  Maybe.  Someday.
I hope so.
Week 5 check-in:
Miles:  13
Total Miles: 55.5
lbs lost:  1.6
Total lost:  10.0  !!!!
Food Plan:  I worked really hard at watching my food intake this week and sticking to the plan.
Thanks for stopping by!
I'd love for you to come Like my Facebook Page!  Pretty please?
  3. Great to find your blog and congrats on your losses!!! And posting your weight on your blog is NOT an obligation--that is totally up to you and your comfort zone!!! Have you considered a Quantum Scale? That's what I use...it never shows you the number that you weigh, just + or -- relative to what you weighed when you first stepped on the scale/programmed it. I LOVE it!!! It's so weird to actually want to see a number go UP on the scale versus the other way around!
  7. Great job with the weight loss :) It doesn't matter if you post your weight or not - only that you post about your journey :)
  8. Great loss! Keep it up! I post my numbers, because I want the accountability--I know if nobody really knows what it is, I will slip up easier. You have to do what is comfortable for you. But keep in mind--this is a safe place and we don't judge--just here to support you, whether you are 90 pounds or 900 pounds:)
