Weekly Weigh In ~ 5/4/2022


Once again (for the bazillionth time), I'm starting on a weight loss journey.  

My first mini-goal is to get below 280 lbs.  I'm giving myself a deadline of June 3, 2022 as that is my next doctor's appointment.  Yikes!  No pressure!

I'll be weighing in on Mondays and posting my results on Wednesday.  If you'd like to join in on the journey, I'd love to have some weight loss friends and support!

Last week, the hubby worked second shift, so I made our main meal at lunchtime.  Then by evening, I was starving and gave in to too many temptations including the temptation not to walk for exercise :(

I was a bit disappointed, though not surprised, when I got on the scale this week and gained 1.5 lbs.

I'm not giving up though!  I still have a whole month to go until my check-up with my dr. and I'm determined to lose as much weight as I can before then.  I don't know if a loss of 8.5 lbs is realistic but I'm going to do my best :)

Here are some of my go-to sayings this week:

I'm excited to see what I can do in just over 4 weeks' time :)

Last Week's Weight ~ 4/25/2022 ~ 287.0 lbs.

This Week's Weight ~ 5/2/2022 ~ 288.5 lbs.

This Week's Total:   +1.5 lbs.

Grand Total: -11.5 lbs

  1. You are so honest - and you can do it. I am trying to lose weight too. My knee surgery is now set for May 31 and I would love to be at least 10lbs lighter. I have tried for months and months but I am a stress eater - and it has been a stressful couple of years. We can do it Colletta. let's support each other.
